Massoli was hired once to participate in some show in Las Vegas but very quickly she left the job. She had to work too hard for little money and after two months Jenna couldn’t bear it any longer. After that she applied for a job as a striper. It was her boyfriend’s idea and he encouraged her despite the fact that at that time she was under 18. In 1991 she starts her career as a strip dancer using fake I.D. 
Once Jameson didn’t get the job in Las Vegas strip club. The reason of rejection was braces on her teeth. She removed them with pliers and got the job. Soon she was already paid $2000 per night. By that time Jenna hadn’t finished high school yet.
Jenna Marie Massoli had various stage names. Her first stage name was Jennasis. But truly famous she became with the name “Jenna Jameson”. They say she was trying the find the best match for her first name thumbing through the phone book.
